Lang Lang Pastoral Agricultural & Horticultural Association
Lang Lang Rodeo
The award winning Lang Lang Rodeo has been running since 1944 and is a must see. It is a family day with the entertainment geared towards family groups.
In 2016 the Lang Lang Rodeo was Cardinia Shire's "Event of the Year" and to top it off we were one of the first rodeos in Australia inducted into the APRA "Hall of Fame"
2018 saw us celebrate our 75th rodeo with a rider's reunion and larger prize money for the Open Bullride. A great day was had by all.
Next year's rodeo will be just as exciting so come along for a great day out!
There are junior and ladies barrel races, steer riding, bucking broncs, the ever popular bull riding and much more.
At the lunch break there is the "Hughie Bourke Memorial" dog high jump which is very entertaining and popular with the crowds. It is free to enter your dog with generous cash prizes for the winner & runners-up.
There are lots of food stalls and amusements so there is something to amuse every age group.
With plenty to see and do, the day starts about 10 am and the action continues until approx. 4 pm.
